We love tradition at The Prince and New Year’s Eve is no exception.
Every year since we have arrived we have invited one of our regulars to entertain us and bring in the New Year. Indeed Steve Ajao can be found in the front bar of the Prince most nights. Steve enjoys national recognition for his jazz and blues. His Bebop sax, deep south vocal and amazing blues guitar have graced many a grand stage, but we are truly privileged to welcome him home to the Prince for NYE. He will be joined on stage by Mick Hatton and Pete Hammond (the only man ever to “play” the Sprits Cupboard Door in our cellar: he used it like a skiffle board).
We will see these fine gentleman in the Garden Marquee for a party set that bound to get us all dancing. There’s some blues, RnB and even a little jazz but its mainly a show to get everyone on their feet.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow are are priced at £5 (£6 on the door). Hopefully see you there.
Finally we would like to wish all our blog readers, customers, neighbours and everyone in Moseley a very Merry Christmas.
